The Long Drive left a much deeper impression on me than I ever expected. Its strange ideas and unconventional gameplay feel almost like an absurdist play about human existence. I drove the entire 5,000 kilometers, only to find that the road simply ended. No hidden surprise, no achievement, not even a reward for making it that far.
I sat there staring at the road disappearing into nothing, thinking about everything I'd done along the way. All those hours spent gathering fuel, searching for food, collecting random keepsakes, and decorating my car. I'd carried that letter with me, driving toward the setting sun, believing there had to be something waiting at the end. But there was nothing. And somehow, that emptiness made me question the meaning of the entire journey. Maybe that was the point all along.
