The cleverest bit is how thoroughly the map trusts your dexterity. A difficult ledge might be reachable long before you're supposed to get there, provided you can coax enough speed out of the rope. That freedom comes at a price: the hardest climbing sequences require practice, precise timing, and a willingness to repeat the same manoeuvre dozens of times. The optional mountain challenge barely bothers with material rewards. Reaching the summit is the point, and that's a rather refreshing bit of stubborn design.
