Driving a scruffy used car through cramped village lanes somehow suits the setting better than showing up in an exotic supercar. Dirt roads, rural houses, repainting, tuning and vehicle flipping give the garage plenty of turnover, while shop purchases are available for free, so trying different cars and upgrades does not require endless saving. Multiplayer makes the whole thing even more casual: race a friend, argue over a price, sell them the car, then go looking for the next questionable bargain.
