Foggy Forest Paths, Crooked Towers, and Unreasonably Lucky Survivors, Started out feeling pretty simple. Build a few towers, block the paths, survive the wave. Then the forest starts throwing bigger groups at you and suddenly the weak setup from earlier stops working completely. Had a couple runs where everything collapsed because I spent resources too early on the wrong upgrades.
The crafting side actually helps break up the constant defending. Unlocking stronger helpers and weird relic skills makes later stages less repetitive, especially once faster game speed opens up. Some rounds go smoothly, others turn into complete panic when enemies slip through the defenses at the last second.
