Most escape games are about getting out. Don't Escape Trilogy flips that idea around. The first has a werewolf locking himself in, the second prepares for a zombie attack, and the third shifts the puzzle to a spacecraft. Different settings, same focus: search carefully, use what you find, and prepare before trouble starts.
The second game feels the most complete and comes closest to the exploration-survival style later used in the fourth entry. The first and third are shorter, more traditional point-and-click puzzles. Played together, the trilogy shows how the series gradually found its own direction.
