Rapid movement and dense bullet patterns do most of the heavy lifting. Enemies rarely leave much breathing room, while boss encounters can turn ugly in an instant if your timing slips. Once their routes and attack habits become familiar, the frantic pace starts to feel far more manageable.
Chunky 8-bit pixels give the whole thing an old arcade-shooter character, and there are enough stages for a proper run. The fully unlocked version opens the complete set of content from the outset, so there is no waiting around for later stages. Weapon variety is the obvious weak point, though, and repeated encounters can start feeling samey. Players who enjoy twitchy movement and bullet-dodging should get more mileage from it than anyone looking for a deep arsenal.
