A quiet village and a few modest errands make for an unassuming start, then the dungeons begin to bite. Combat stays fairly lean, but skills, character growth and shifting runs give you enough to think about before every fight. The full version is already unlocked, so there is no waiting around for later content.
The pixel art has that slightly dusty old-RPG character, and the murky labyrinths suit it nicely. Nothing feels overloaded with systems; most of the time goes into poking around, fighting creatures and hunting down better abilities. A decent pick for a lighter dungeon RPG when you would rather play offline and be left alone.
