Players collect resources to produce various units and buildings. These resources include gold, wood, stones, and food. Food can be obtained by hunting, gathering fruit trees, plowing fields, or fishing. After the player builds the market, it can also be obtained through Trade to supplement the resources they lack. When players collect enough resources and build specific buildings, they can upgrade to the next era. There are four eras in the Empire Age: Stone Age, Tool Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age.
